EMMYS Awards 2014 – List Of Nominees And Winners

 

The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards was hosted by Seth Meyers, the 2014 Emmys boasted famous presenters, such as Halle Berry, Sofia Vergara, Matthew McConaughey, and Jimmy Fallon. Top nominees for the night included Scandal’s Kerry Washington, House of Cards’ Kevin Spacey, Parks and Recreation’s Amy Poehler, and The Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons.

The nomination were led by HBO’s Game of Thrones, which received 19 nominations, including nods for Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series, and Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for Peter Dinklage.

Miss USA 2014 Winner Nia Sanchez

Miss Nevada USA Nia Sanchez, has crowned to be the Miss USA 2014 in Baton Rouge on June 8. Donald Trump with their USA Peagant management have decided to take a step ahead by selecting the big time beauty contest from Las Vegas to the Louisiana capital. Sanchez is a fourth-degree black belt in the Korean martial art of Taekwondo.

She beat 50 other contestants while Miss Noth Dakota USA, Audra Mari was the first runner up.

Miss Louisiana USA Brittany Guidry was the third runner-up.

Every year I end up going Christmas shopping at the last moment (a day before Xmas Eve to be precise) and end up buying whatever I can lay my hands on. In the process I am left with an outfit which often is not exactly to my taste. Moreover it’s expensive, since I prefer designer labels, Dolce & Gabbana being my favourite.

This time, I decided to shop at least a week before and trust me it was the best experience ever. My office colleague sent me an invite to his super-elite terrace Xmas party. It was an opportunity I didn’t want to let go of as it was a good time to make some contacts or do networking rather. Though the dress code was casual, this was definitely not the place to wear bright pants and garish party t-shirts!

I love my Dolce & Gabbana pair of ripped jeans which I wear to most parties. But I decided to get another pair for myself, jeans which are simple yet stylish. I tried on Prada dark blue jeans at a mall and they fit perfectly. It’s a regular fit and exactly what I was looking for.
